Probably much needed. My dad has been fishing the Lodden for about the last 20 years. Over the last couple, catches of barbel have dwindled to next to nothing.

Strange for a river that did a couple of very big fish well above the rivers mouth into the Thames - but that unfortunately seems common on some Thames tributaries.
I have access to 3 different club sections all with a few barbel still - the introduction is very welcome! Let's hope they survive and breed. A couple of the stocked fish have been caught.
