Nice selection of reels :thumb: , the silver series Daiwa was one my cousin had back in the late 70's, i had the GS1, and managed to pick up a mint one a couple of years ago, the first one being in a of a load of gear that was stolen from my flat in 1990. Both lovely reels, unlike my other daiwa reel, the 1050, another i picked up mint some time back, it was my ledger reel back then and replaced with a shimano GT3000 with the now common 'fighting drag', a real step up from the 1050 :wink:

I've made many different styles of centre pins over the years,but the aerial is the best I think,but more time consuming to make .The cost is high but it worth it in the quality. Reelmaker
