Re: Some simple bank sticks
I have been eyeing up some Elm suckers in the hedgerows when out on my bike, has anyone used this wood?

Re: Some simple bank sticks
Try it ! I use pretty much any wood I can get my hands on/find! Even some trees that grow like weeds (some willow cross species i think) - although they are terrible to work with, they do after some elbow grease work well for bank sticks and are very very strong.
