Best of luck & congrats on the fish landed so far.
I'm not at all envious, sitting here in my office in beautiful Aldershot!
Looking forward to reading more on the blog.

Could be worse Craig - you might be stuck in my office here in Manchester...
Re: Redmire Live Blog....
I gave up the office life, took the redundancy offered and the small pension two and a half years ago. Had a year off and then started my own Handyman/Gardener/Fettler business in February of last year. Spent most of the savings to prop up the business and after a good start this year, the wet Spring has made working difficult but this week is a good one. The reason for mentioning all of that is that this morning I was spent working on a customers garden but this afternoon was spent on the Soar Navigation fishing! I shall never be rich but ain't that the best of both worlds.......work when it's there, and fish when it isn't!

No, I must admit I haven't - but I do know it's much closer to my new favourite river (Kennet) and my grandchildren and children than is Manchester :D
Re: Redmire Live Blog....
I've been to both. The only point on which Aldershot wins is that it's much smaller, and near some good fishing.
