I am in awe over the tubes, especially the first one with the anglers. Am I correct in thinking it's hinged?

It is a float box yes
Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. I take it you just saw the bamboo in half and screw in the hinges?
Fishing is not just a sport, it's a way of life. It's an escape from reality, away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. It's just you, a river, and an old Willow tree hidden away from everything.

Superb Evert, I especially like the tubes, the graphics are really something else, if you don't mind telling, how did you do them.
JW
I use decal paper to bring on the pictures to the tube after some time i find the right way to create a perfect size picture on my computer and make the best quality i can get, there are different ways to create the tubes and boxes and always use transparent decal paper sometimes in two layers and it is not only a picture i use :-)

Yes That is the way to do it
Thought so. Now, at the ends of the tube, have you used a flattened piece of Bamboo or just a circle piece of wood?
Apologies for all the questions, I'm just curious as it's such a lovely creation.
