Splendid, Sir !!!

My God Vole you cannot imagine how proud I am feeling at the moment. The raffle was very important to me in more ways than one.
My concern was the rod would go to a collector and not a waggler so to read your post is just fantastic its in good hands that's all I ever asked.
See you in October .

I can't tell you how good that's made me feel about it, Colin!
This rod is definitely going to get wielded and waggled and hopefully bent some more..

Hurrah
I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete.

Just had a read back about this prize rod, The prize was given so generously, the money raised has gone to a good but very sad cause, the draw was at yet another great cause and the winner from what I have read could be no better an owner. What is there to moan about I ask?

What a nice read. I do enjoy hearing from anglers who consider themselves, it makes me feel at home. Nice result though.

Congratulations on a super read Vole, (as good as or better than most fishing weekly's!) and also hat's off to Bumble for the part that he played in providing the catalyst for your most enjoyable read.
Ted.
