Would appreciate any advice or suggestions.....

Mr Burr, the tropical regions of Australia, in the north of the country, including the equatorial and sub-tropical zones have high temperatures and high humidity and distinct wet and dry seasons. In the Australian tropics the wet season, called the monsoon season, lasts about six months.Dave Burr wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2018 11:27 amMaybe next time you should buy a hat from a country where it rains moreJeremy Croxall wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2018 9:13 am Hi chaps, I have bought a BC leather hat which has a nubuck/suede type finish and wondered about water proofing, is there a spray on water proofer that doesn't smell like pear drops!

Why then would they make a hat that is not waterproof? Bit like the Inuit making bikinisJeremy Croxall wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2018 6:00 pmMr Burr, the tropical regions of Australia, in the north of the country, including the equatorial and sub-tropical zones have high temperatures and high humidity and distinct wet and dry seasons. That's a good point, perhaps they don't make them waterproof so we "poms" have something to "whinge" about!Dave Burr wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2018 7:01 pmWhy then would they make a hat that is not waterproof? Thanks Paul!
Thanks Darren, his proofing spray is described as suitable for fabric but I guess it would work on leather? I will email and enquire.
