Ta for that. I suppose a search on 'grub screw' might find this but I do feel we ought to record it somewhere easier to find..not actually sure where though......

I'm thinking of turning up some replacement central bosses in aluminium so I'll stick with the original thread so that the Youngs grub screws can still be used. Thanks for the info. Now. The thread for the mounting screws...any ideas? I'd like to use proper countersink head screws since the boss has countersunk holes......got to help locate it in the right place everytime.....

I now have the sizings for some grub screws and boss mounting screws, I'll put a thread up in Tradititional Reel Building and Restoring.
