I reckon it's a special order rod, Olly on another thread mentions that Aspindale's did do custom jobs.

I once had a rod made for me by Aspindales for chub fishing on the Thame. It was a 9ft three piece built cane using fly rod blanks. I was asked what I wanted it called and I said The Thamedale. Is there a possibility this was a one off order for use on the Stour in particular?

If it is a one off Dorset stour rod with barbel and chub in mind any idea of value guys? 60 year old original mint condition?
