Millwards Magnacast
I recently bought this wee reel from a well known internet auction site,,,
On first inspection it looked a bit tatty and once i started to strip it, it became clear that it had been repainted in the past.
After speaking to a friend I also found out this reel dates from 1939 and was originally a maroon colour and not black.
so, full strip down, de-grease, primer and paint/lacquer...
