A good idea. As has been said you could make them yourself, but if you wanted to just buy some instead they're a reasonable price.
I bet if one of the big names got hold of the idea they would sell by the truck load. Korda Kontroller maybe?

Chance is always powerful. Let your hook be always cast; in the pool where you least expect it, there will be a fish

Re: Traditional Controller Floats...
A concern with these bought 'stick' controllers is that they may get weeded up and result in a lost fish or even a tethered fish.
The controller could be attached via a piece of low b.s. line to make a 'rotten bottom' so to speak but if you've bought it that could be costly and it leaves bits of line in the water.
I made my own from different thicknesses and lengths of buddleia . Buddliea has a pith in the centre of the wood and it is possible to push a small swivel into it and it will hold firm but should the controller get weeded the swivel will pull out leaving nothing artificial in the lake and you lose nothing of value.
They are not varnished as I consider them to be disposable.

Excellent idea, Sir.

That's a nice development of the concept. I have a Buddliea.
