A leviathan of a fish Sir, a true lunker well done. :Hat:
Not a fish was visible that first time I visited Beechmere; an utter
stillness brooded over the place and I felt the strange and sinister atmosphere which, so the story goes,
has been the cause of several suicides.’

I can remember fishing for these on the river Blackwater at Stisted as a child and having matches with friends to see how many Gordons (as we use to call them) you could catch.Perhaps its time for a return visit.
There are three things that improve with age: wine, friendship and water sense, and there's no short cut.
