The Fishing Diaries of Eddie Price

My wife bought me this book a couple of Chistmas's ago, a wonderful account of angling at a time when everything had its mystery intact.

Since then, I have been fortunate enough to have it signed by Martin and Eddie, making it a book I cherish and one that takes top spot on my bookshelf.

I know a while back these books were fetching decent money, anyone know roughly how much it would be worth? Not that I'm planning to sell it, just curious.

Excuse the trumpet blowing but I'm lucky enough to have my name (along with a fair few others, mind !) on the Acknowledgements page of this book. What Mumbs had thought I'd done to deserve it I don't know, but I'm very grateful to him.

Ummm, contribution ? None I know of in the book, I'm a mate of the Mumbs, that's all.

(More of a living leg-end to be honest.)

I had one of the original Leatherbound ones. Unfortunately (?) the lady in my life wanted to get married a couple of years later so the book was sold. The proceeds paid for the wedding completely! I miss the book terribly but I couldn't refuse the offer. Oh...by the way..it was me she married. I wouldn't have sold it if she'd wanted to marry someone else :D
