Some chub from todays outing

Post by Chevin Chaser »

Not ideal conditions for chub fishing today, but I manged a few and got a sun tan at the same time!

6lb 2oz, an old warrior full of battle scars, and another at 5lb. The last one I didn't weigh, but I've been catching some pristine smaller chub recently in similar size.

Well done! A fine day's fishing. The reel looks like a 1970's 300, but what is the rod?

That last Chub is a real beauty - the colouring - in particular the fins - top catching again.

Thank you Mitch. It's a Chapman 500, a superb chub rod.
