Thanks for all your comments. It was a great season for barbel on such a hard river. Hopefully the chub will be kind to me 👍
It is important to be aware that every fishing story...depends on the honesty of those telling it, the accuracy of their memory and the realibility of their interpretation of the circumstances.

That's a marvellous barbel and, yes, obviously a double-figure fish. Lovely.
