That is a very fine fish, it looks nice and plump with good fins :-)

I agree, my copy has been promoted from the book cupboard to the book shelf so that it is close at hand :-)

That looks very nice, I have several Medlar books, each is a favourite. My 2nd edition is well read, perhaps I should upgrade :-)

I loved reading 'Bright waters' when I borrowed a copy from the town library many years ago.

Then one Christmas my sister found a copy for me to keep :huray:

Here it is... I have no idea if it is a reprint, a first edition, or whatever (but inside the cover is written in pencil "scarce 15/-" so presumably someone valued it even in pre-decimal days) :read:

1924 first edition but the photograph is upside down, is the page loose or taped in ?

The page isn't loose or taped, but it might have been stuck back in.... I can't be sure. Nice to know it is a first edition though, thank you for the information :Hat:
