That is a very fine fish, it looks nice and plump with good fins :-)

This is one of the great old fishing books. Mine gets re-read often.

Chris,
I agree, my copy has been promoted from the book cupboard to the book shelf so that it is close at hand :-)

Yes, it's a pity he didn't write more fishing books, too busy I suppose :-)

Great book. The Medlar press leather edition has black and white photographs in it

Badger,
That looks very nice, I have several Medlar books, each is a favourite. My 2nd edition is well read, perhaps I should upgrade :-)

Re: Where the Bright Waters Meet by Harry Plunket Greene
I loved reading 'Bright waters' when I borrowed a copy from the town library many years ago.
Then one Christmas my sister found a copy for me to keep
Here it is... I have no idea if it is a reprint, a first edition, or whatever (but inside the cover is written in pencil "scarce 15/-" so presumably someone valued it even in pre-decimal days)

The page isn't loose or taped, but it might have been stuck back in.... I can't be sure. Nice to know it is a first edition though, thank you for the information
