Not sure if anyone can help but...back in the late 60's I used to visit a local bookshop and would avidly read through a fishing book (went so often that I read it all, no need to buy after that..
) The book contained fishing stories, one half was true fishing tales, the second half, not so true tales. Through the fog of advancing years I seem to remember that it was published by Faber and Faber, but all of my searches so far in trying to identify the title have been in vain.
