Innerleithen and Traquair
Found this in a batch of 11 books on eBay, paid £45 + p&p, gave two away to fishing friends, and the rest to the local charity shop. God alone knows what my limit would have been at auction, but it’s the only first edition I’ve seen or even heard of in over thirty years of collecting - in short, it’s rarer than rocking horse droppings.
Kind Regards
Phil

Re: Innerleithen and Traquair
Thanks Dave, yes, it’s a great feeling innit?
Innerleithen is close to where we stay for our week’s Upper Tweed fishing in October, and I’ve been going for 29 consecutive years now - lots of friends there, so we’ve no shortage of rods to join us on our syndicate water. This year we had three salmon, 8lb (2) and 16lb, all caught by guests, which was nice.....
It doesn’t get any better than that for me.
Kind Regards
Phil
