Is this an Aluminium Efgeeco Bait box ?

Post by Tonytoned »

Hello Everyone

Today at the boot sale I picked this up, amongst other things. I'm just wondering if anybody else has come across an aluminium bait box that has the same dimensions as an Efgeeco bait box

Any help would be much appreciated. :Hat:

Never seen one of those before what an unusual find. I have found many shapes and sizes of metal and plastic types but none like that, well done on spotting it. :Hat:

Thanks Reedling. I have scoured the inter web and found nothing at the moment. I'm sure something or someone will be able to enlighten us.

Not seen anything like that before that wasn't full of steak and kidney pie or meant for feeding the pooch. The fact that the lid fits does make for a very good bait tin.

I know what mean Dave. I was going to nickname it the dog bowl. The lid fits perfectly, plus the dimensions are absolutely the same. Can't find anything on the web. My only other thought is that it could have possibly been manufactured by MARCO or Pegley Davis too.

I have one. I brought it in the early 80s it doesn't have any writing or labels on it. I have just looked at it and it does have a label just like the one in the photo. It could be an efgeeco bait tin. It has a different lid colour it is not white and it is bigger maybe 2 pints.
Old fishermen never die they only smell that way.
