Aluminium Rod Tube

Post by Beresford »

Does anybody know a maker/supplier of an aluminium rod tube large enough to take a MkIV Carp rod?

Gary Mills of Mill tackle showed me some tubes he’d made although I’m unsure of the dimensions available. Worth a call

Thank you. I'll make contact with him. I know Gary Marshall offers them with his new rods or with a restoration project, I just didn't think to ask him last year when he worked on a rod for me.

If you want to consider making your own, have a look at aluminium warehouse. Plenty of diameters and you could always make your end cap
