An absolute homemade little gem.

Post by Tonytoned »

Hello Everyone

:Hat:

In one of the lots I won at the Netherhampton Sporting Auction on Saturday, I found among all the stuff this little gem, a homemade wooden tackle box with a profile of a game fish also made of wood on the lid, when I opened it up I found some lead moulded devon minnows, some stainless booms and some lures.

I just think it is one of those unique items, which there is only probably one and the history that goes with it. "Priceless"!

What a lovely looking Tackle’s box - The ageing patina is wonderful - I am a tad envious Sir!

No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it's not the same river and he's not the same man.

Thank you Peter. It's not often thing turn up like this but when they do, I am so appreciative of the time that someone has put in to making this box.
