Roach Reflections

Watched a good fishing film lately, why not talk about it in here.

The bag I currently have is from GW Titmuss; it's OK but not the best. Some say Haith's bait is better?

Mark, I notice your tares are very brown compared to black which is what I thought the norm was, thats unless there wheat?

The photo I used in the video was quite old and possibly before someone told me about iron tablets. Cooked tares do vary regardless of using bicarb and iron tablets and the roach don't seem to mind that much if the tares are brown rather than jet black.

Thanks Mark, I always knew about bicarb but never heard of using iron tablets.

I've created another video in my Roach Reflections series. Here's Part 16 which takes a broader look at roach baits:

I tried Mystic paste (red) a few times in the 70's. Seemed to catch a lot of decent roach on it. Gawd knows what's in it. IIRC it used to dissolve my plastic bait lid very slightly.
