Hello Graham. It might pay to start a new thread. Go to Broad index, look for traditional reels then post in other reels you might get more members look at thread and possibly help you.

My early half bale still has a sticker on the body, lovely looking bit of kit but not sure I would risk actually using it!
Does anyone use theirs in anger?
Did it survive?
It feels like it may :surrender: if I hooked a double.
Looks just great on my fishing book shelf though.

I've never seen a TJH sticker before. They're very Dan Dare aren't they?

That's an exceptionally fine example Mark

I did 'service' one once, But can only remember that it was knackered beyond repair as all the internals are that cheap alloy too.
