The Regina reel
I Just bought this reel in a "curiosity" type shop, it is areal oddball, I believe made by the same company, Harrington? that made The Gemina and others. Seems to work fine, but not tried the different settings yet as I am clueless. Not saying it is worth much but just had to have it as I have never seen one.Can someone enlighten me please!

Yes, LD, you have it correctly....a multiplying centrepin from the mad men of T J Harrington.
It also has adjustable gearing.
There's a reason why it appears unused........
They're actually pretty rare, I've only ever seen images of a few, strangely...all unused also.

LD This is a "Regina", and you will find some more info here

Unusual reel, no bearings cast cogs, would have maybe used it when I was fishing on the Grand Union Canal, as all I caught was tiny little Perch and Gudgeon
One word of warning, be very careful when changing the gear, as the cast parts break quite easily.

LD, if you do decide to sell it, give me a PM, as yours looks quite tidy compered to mine.

Regina reel
Hello Rod,
yes I will definitely let you know if I decide to sell, it is in really good condition. I would like to see how it works, before I decide, but will definitely let you know after Christmas.

How do you take an omnia apart for servicing? I have just won one on Ebay . Do you remove the mechanism by removing the rear screw?
