Very underrated reels. I have the Leeds and its perfect for fishing down the edge for carps. I would say the only downfall is the lack of ratchet and the foot is a little thick which can cause issues on some rods.

This one has a ratchet but no clutch.Chevin wrote:Very underrated reels. I have the Leeds and its perfect for fishing down the edge for carps. I would say the only downfall is the lack of ratchet and the foot is a little thick which can cause issues on some rods.

That reel is very nice Ljm183, If you don't mind me asking how much are they? and was it new or second hand?

From what i have found out the reel was the top of the range Lewtham when it was made back in 2003 and sold for £140 or £170 with a wooden box.Carp Artist wrote: That reel is very nice Ljm183, If you don't mind me asking how much are they? and was it new or second hand?

Re: Lewtham Magnum Blue
I have a black one and it burns your finger when braking the spool with your thumb/finger due to the milled edge. Apart from that a very smooth reel.
