Re: Romsey 7th April
Terrific idea , with a bowler hat perhaps?
I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete.

He will certainly be a loss to the vintage tackle trade, I think that Steve Draper would have to ok any tribute or gesture though, as most of the 'punters' would not know of Stacy?

Re: Romsey 7th April
I will be there, once again on a seemingly futile job of trying to find artefacts from the early days of The Dreadnought Casting Reel Company.
I will have some nice bookmarks, free to anyone who has my books.
Updating anyone who is interested in volume 3, no name yet, on Martin, Coxon, Slater, Jack Bailey, FWK Wallis and Nightingale.
I look forward to "chewing the fat"
