Dam international 40
Hi can anyone help me please, have been given a DAM International 40 reel. Its a bit of a beast the spool measures about 2 1/2 inches across the top its made of aluminium. It says it will hold 290 yards of 20lb line or 195 yards of 25lb line. The reels runs very smooth with ratchet off and its got a nice sound with ratchet on. Would this be a sea fishing reel or is it just a heavy duty spinning reel. Many thanks John.

The line capacity would suggest that it's most probably aimed at sea fishing
