I know it is over done but i have to happen some day, refurbished a Mordex Merlin to a gold edition and have to say it looks better then i tough it would be. some off you will hate it and some off you will like it :-)

I will admit they turn out very attractively! Much nicer than the plain colour black.

Although I dont think I could do that to an Allcocks Aerial Popular ---- but??

After this everything is possible lol . i did this Merlin with a special reason, I have written a article in Fallon's Angler issue nr 7 which I am very proud off and will save that with this reel in a small cabinet just as a reminder

Well done Evert, it looks far too nice to fish with but that's just me. You are right to be proud of both the reel and the article. :Hat:
