Two reels to restore
A Hardy Altex No 3 MK V, will get the full treatment

and a Allcocks 12 spoke centrepin that is in a terrible condition.

Looking forward to seeing your transformations Evert :Sun: I'd probably not be alone in thinking that Allcocks spool was beyond repair so I'm intrigued as how do you intend to go about it :Hat:

Yes that aerial would have been stripped for spares had it been mine.
Evert has the patience of a saint and skills to match.

Here are the first results on the aerial reel, cleaned it up first and removed the oxide all over to see what was under all the stuff before i can make a start to the repairs on this reel.

start the repairs, made a small construction to support the loose parts and to get it on the right spot

So far so good next step is to work on the details to improve the repairs with metal epoxy
