Can anyone tell me what rod this is?...

Post by Dipper »

It’s three piece but has 2 tips, one shorter an beefier than the other, looks to be just under 11ft in total length.

Any clues as to its origins?

Constable of Bromley I think as gold label appears to have 'Co' at start and they made a twin top.

How long is the corkage? a ring spacing pic or two would be good also. Unless someone else knows the match up required - mine at the moment is a hunch.......

Possibly Priory rod, do you have a picture of the butt cap?

Constables of Bromley did a rod called twin top so I would hazard a guess that is what it is.
I think one tip made up 10'6" the other 9'6" but that's not 100%

Hello,
I'm pretty sure that the rod is a Constable TwinTop
You can see mine here viewtopic.php?f=316&t=26163 which shows the Constable logo and rod name.
I think it is a lovely rod.
Geoff
