Bob Southwell fly rods

Surely Bob Southwell, the supplier of split cane blanks to many famous rod builders, deserves his own section ?

I am very happy to announce that I have found another Southwell fly rod, the 'Blagdon'. I have been searching for this rod for quite a while.

I was very pleased to be able to buy the rod even though it needed restoration.

I am doing my best to repair it sympathetically and have been helped by TFF members with cork for the handle and a black rubber button.

It's going to be a long job.
