Agreed. Had it been easy to use, I would have had a go. As it is, I'll stick to dough bobbins or silver paper for the legering I do

I had no idea until I saw the listing that the thing was threaded and actually the fitting for a butt indicator (swing tip style).

I have some questions:
1. Has anyone used one and if so, what is the bite indication like?
2. Is it normally fitted between the reel and butt ring or butt ring and next ring?
3. Does it have any significant impact on casting?
