Dear friends
I have recently acquired a nicely restored 10ft 6” Arun. I wonder if anyone could tell me the years this rod was produced. It has the serial number 1059 although I understand from reading other threads here that this probably isn’t a date stamp.

Hi , just looked in the 1954 catalog and its not there, but other named rods ie "Test" etc are so the "Arun"must be launched as a model range post this date.Wild card if the no. should reflect the year of manufacture 59 is a good assumption. Things to think about . Regards Tony.
