Passingford Mill photo in Creel Magazine - help needed

Post by Tengisgol »

I am doing a little research into Passingford Mill and I know that it was once shown in Creel Magazine. I remember many years ago a friend lending a copy to me.

I should be really grateful, if anyone recognises this from its pages, if they could get in contact and perhaps post some details here. Photo of the mill house for reference below:

Thanks in anticipation.

I drove past that mill every weekday for 20 years up to 1998... the wife has been driving past it for 38 years... its only a few miles from our house... I used to fish upstream of it for many years... not looking its best now though sadly
Just one more cast love, and I'll be on me way home

Leave nothing but footprints, take nothing but pictures and memories

First place I ever fished on a river, just upstream, which would have been in about 1976. I can picture in my mind’s eye everything about that day. What we caught, where the swims are, even the weed that we cast at.

We’d been dropped off for the day and my friend broke the top of his Dad’s rod. That thing where you are walking along and the tip catches in the grass.

If anyone has a copy of Creel magazine featuring the Mill it would be very much appreciated.

Fabulous! Thanks Tony.

Would anyone be able to scan that for me preferably, send me a photo or perhaps even have a copy to loan or sell?

Thanks in anticipation!
