Thanks Fredline. I'm in the process of learning Dutch (well Flemish) will give me something to read when I get a bit better!

I missed the series when it was first broadcast, just started work, drinking beer etc. I couldn't sleep last night, so I watched all 13 episodes on Youtube. Excellent. A shame there isn't more children's drama of this quality these days.

Binge watching Brendon Chase. What a good idea.
If you have no grease with you, and your rings are full of ice, do not cut out the ice with a pen-knife but get your man to put the rings one by one in his mouth, and so to thaw the ice.

I saw this the first time round, my favourite program back then, knocking Grange Hill into second place.

Never saw you as a bing watcher MG but I can't think of many better programmes to sit right through.

Just thought I'd see what it was like, something gentle and not too taxing on the brain at 2am
