C815 ratchet
Hi, my aerial c815 has a ratchet that is set up for right hand wind and im a left land user which means the ratchet is stiffer on retrieve rather than on a take, how can i alter this, im guessing its the pawl but what can i do? Appreciate any advice

If the pawl is removable I turn it over, perhaps not the 'correct' thing to do but it works well enough for me!

Re: C815 ratchet
Due to the position of the pawl spring, it is acting harder to compress on one side of the pawl. A little bit of spring reshaping can make it better suited to left hand wind but it is a bit hit and miss until you get it right.
The springs are quite tolerant to a bit of reshaping so don't worry about it snapping.
