Hello from Teesside
Hi everybody,
I fish the Tees mainly for chub, dace, grayling, perch and the odd pike.
I use a variety of methods, but in winter it’s mainly light ledgering. Other times the float comes into play, or it’s lures.
The Tees is such a wild river it can be hard going at times one way or another, but that’s why I enjoy it so much.
Recently I’ve developed a liking for old Daiwa reels. You can’t beat the 700 and 7000 series for looks, reliability and value in my view.

Hello Dunsmuire.
I have happy memories of catching fine chub in the Croft area.
A lovely "wild River" as you say.
Do you reside on the north side of the river or on the south side?.

Thanks for all the welcomes.
I live on the north side of the Tees, Wanderer. And there are still many very decent chub coming out of the Croft area, though I personally fish slightly downstream of there more.

Do you ever fish the River Wear?
