Hi everybody,

I fish the Tees mainly for chub, dace, grayling, perch and the odd pike.

I use a variety of methods, but in winter it’s mainly light ledgering. Other times the float comes into play, or it’s lures.

The Tees is such a wild river it can be hard going at times one way or another, but that’s why I enjoy it so much.

Recently I’ve developed a liking for old Daiwa reels. You can’t beat the 700 and 7000 series for looks, reliability and value in my view.

Welcome to the forum sir may I say you have very good taste in fixed spool reels!
I've been known to purchase one or two myself over the last few years.
I'm a 99% pin man but when I need a good quality fixed spool my old diawas never let me down!

No, I don't get up to the Wear these days.I've fished it for trout etc in the past though. It's a lovely river, but I'm spoilt for choice down here.
