Hello all!
Hi all,
nice to finally be here, I kept meaning to join but finally got round to it. I’m a newbie to cane, I’m 34 and after serious ill health, I vowed if I got better I would go back to basics, and fish traditional.I’ve always used pins, but I’ve just purchased several hardy wallis’s. And a hardy allround rod. Looking to get out very soon and hopefully catch my first on cane! Based in Leicestershire, but when the world is normal, I fish all over the uk!

There are three things that improve with age: wine, friendship and water sense, and there's no short cut.

The close season is an important and interesting time for the Angler who set out to catch big fish. It is a timely opportunity for him to make new tackle or renovate old. There are no end of jobs to do, apart from those horrible things called Gardens!
