Hello again....

Post by Digger »

Hi All

I just wanted to say hello and I have returned after several years of lay off and life rebuilding.

I previously had a little input into the forum as Rustyspigot some years ago but have adopted Digger as my new user name. It used to be my nickname in younger years and has some great memories.

I am back fishing again once a week on my local rivers and my remaining rods are all fettled and reels all spooled up with new line.

I lost a few once in a lifetime rods during my 'troubles' for both financial and emotional reasons however I still have a few and will be using them until I 'done got too old'. Looking forward to having some interesting comms with you all and I just want to say it's great being back in the seat and enjoying traditional fishing and vintage tackle as much as I ever did.

Best wishes to all and enjoy the summer evenings whilst they last.

Kind regards
Digger(Chris) :fishing1:

Welcome Aboard :Hat:
Not a fish was visible that first time I visited Beechmere; an utter
stillness brooded over the place and I felt the strange and sinister atmosphere which, so the story goes,
has been the cause of several suicides.’
