Introduction
Hello everybody.
I have been a member for a few months now and have spent the intervening time observing what goes on in an effort to understand how things work. Suffice to say I think I have learned enough to gain the confidence to put my head above the parapet.
For the past 60 years I have been in love with fishing, first starting out on local ponds on the outskirts of Wolverhampton. It was 35 years ago when I left the city and for the last 20 years I have lived in Herefordshire.
In terms of ethos and values I am very much a traditional fisherman. However when it comes to tactics to catch my chosen quarry I'm not sure I qualify, I have no problem using the most up to date methods to make things happen.
Going forward I hope I can make a worthwhile contribution that can be appreciated by the members.
Regards
Old Wulf

Re: Introduction
Pull up a pew, pour a favourite tipple and enjoy.... don’t worry about up to date methods.... most of us like to keep things simple and traditional when we fish

I like many others will use a combination of traditional and modern depending on what suits the circumstances and or whim. Relax and enjoy Old Wulf

There are three things that improve with age: wine, friendship and water sense, and there's no short cut.
