Hello from York!
Hello all,
I’m a North Yorkshire based, mixed coarse angler; my favourite target species being pike. I’m trying to transition as much as possible towards traditional tackle because it’s often made better, evidently lasts longer, and it’s so much more aesthetically pleasing! I also employ traditional tactics wherever possible, I’d rather catch one dace to a homemade float than any amount of them on a maggot feeder. I only collect stuff that I’m going to have a use for.
If anyone is from the york area, I’d love to do some float fishing for tench with a pal, when the weather warms up
Tight lines,
Bill

Now the Bill, welcome to TFF. I’m just up in the tees valley Durham dales so not too far and my work cover all of the North Yorkshire moors, so there is always a chance.

Pull up a pew by the fire Bill, pour a favourite tipple and enjoy the banter...
