Hello everyone, I am a keen river fisherman and look forward to interesting chats and piscatorial persiflage. June 16th will find me on the riverbank, although we could do with some rain before then to wake the river up.

Hi & welcome.

We’re all praying for some rain!
If you ask nicely Dave Burr may well perform his famous Herefordshire rain dance for you, even if it fails to bring rain it is proven to frighten away lockdown tourists & other anglers thus guaranteeing miles of human free riverbanks!

Welcome Tinca Trotter. I had to look up the word persiflage . Knowing you as l do it is a very apt term and l stand-by , ready and resigned to recieve a few jolly ribbings from you. 🙂
In order to shoot some close-ups, wildlife photographer ,the late Len Scapstillon, lured the orca to him by dressing as a seal.......
