A letter from our Honorary President

Post by Mark »

I received a lovely letter today chaps from our Honorary President May Lang, courtesy of Edwin Lang who scanned it in and emailed it to me, bless her.

Thank you for the lovely letter May and like you we all wish Mark well on his Redmire quest. :Hat:

where you find only elder trees, nettles and dreams. (BB - Denys Watkins-Pitchford).

What a lovely letter, if you read this ma'am, please accept my kindest regards, your comments about Redmire are spot on, very sad, lets hope it can be brought back to something resembling it's former glory. :Hat:

What a lovely letter and what a looker May was probably still is.

We really are honoured to have May on board, what a great lady :Hat:

And there's nobody better than Skeff to revitalise Redmire.

What a lovely letter to receive this lady paints a lovely picture in my mind with her words. I also was upset when I visited an old haunt a little while back, expecting everything and taking away nothing but sadness at what I experienced.

It will probably take 10 + years to repair. Lots of money and hardwork. I hope Skeff writes a book about it :-)

What a pleasure to read our Honorary Presidents letter! I think that Redmire simply cannot be restored and the only way of bringing it back to something of its former glory is to stop fishing there and allow nature to take over again.
