It may seem stupid but I am having problems removing the spool from an ABU 333. If I just turn it anti clockwise as shown on the spool it just rotates. I have tried tightening the drag knob but still cannot get the spool off as it just stilll rotates.
Am I doing something wrong or is it just stuck on?

I think you may need to press it in and turn it to release it.

Actually change that. Tightened the drag as much as possible. Managed to get it off after pressing hard. But wasn't easy.
