Well Jack, have woven his magic and bought to me several arbors made of differing materials and for different reels, and incidently on a new printer. The designs were for wide drum Speedia (which I have) and Grice and Young (which I haven't).
The wide drum Speedia arbour weighs in at 17.6 grams and the Grice and Young 12.7 grams - he will try differing fill %'s as we progress. Incidently, the removed line from my wide drum Speedia weighed 28g!
Having discussed cost with him, he is happy that the wide drum Speedia is £5.50 and the Speedia narrow drum (still to be designed) and the Grice and Young Arbor is £4.50. Post and packaging will be extra.
He will over the next few weeks work with me, and we will produce a narrow Speedia design, but could I ask if you would indicate if you would be interested in any wide or narrow Speedia arbors.
I will post a picture of the fitted article on my Speedia, but I want to take the opportunity firstly to deep clean it first.

Macman's Speedia narrow file seemed to work OK earlier on, not sure if there's a need to redesign it. I'll check my files for the spec (e.g. fill % and material) used for the earlier commercial prints.

The only file, I think with those listed was for the wide drum Speedia.

The wide drum Speedia arbor looks very good, and I'd love to have one.
But first I need to find a wide drum Speedia.

I posted the link earlier: viewtopic.php?f=202&t=28731&start=70#p429385 and also PM'd it to you. It links to the three designs for me, if it doesn't for you let me know.Barbelseeker wrote: ↑Sat Jul 18, 2020 3:13 pm The only file, I think with those listed was for the wide drum Speedia.
And this https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:267968 is the specific one for the narrow.
