Well its only been the close season for week and already I am itching to get back out on the river. Today I was thinking about what rods I will be using this coming season for chubbing and my Floatcaster Deluxe never really seen the light of day last season. I have just pulled it rod my rod rack and gave it a bit of dusting, it measures 11ft and is 11oz in weight.

Can any tell me the minimum and maximum line test that is recommend for this rod.

I don't know officially Mark, but I use my DeLuxe with 6lb line... the 12' DeLuxe is a bit of a beast and would probably handle heavier line without too much trouble..
Possibly 8lb, but I'm not sure about a standard Floatcaster... If it was mine I'd probably stick with 6lb test

6lb test is my normal chubbing line, thank you H. :Hat:
