B James Ealing Mk 1V. Whipping colour.

Post by Wallys-Cast »

Hi all, does anyone know the exact colour thread used on the early green whipped B James MK 1V or has anybody got any nice close up photos of the whippings of such a rod in good condition.
Grateful for any help.

Wal.

Thanks Colin. It looks a sort of dark olive to me, what would you say?

Thanks again Colin, I have some olive silk and some in nylon so I'll do a few trial runs with and without sealer and see how it turns out.
