Can any one help Hardy Graphite De Luxe range

Post by Old Man Oakley »

Sorry for nearly mentioning the c** word, but does any know what rods were made under the Hardy Graphite Salmon Fly Deluxe range?

I have a superb 13' 9" salmon rod, but it is a little too long for the North Tyne when it is flowing at summer levels. So I was hoping they may have done a slightly shorter version. I fear this may be the start of a life long collection.

Many thanks

OMO

Thank you Olly, v helpful. Imagine what wielding a 20' rod must have felt like. Easier just to pluck a telegraph pole from out of the ground and use that instead.

Well they use 15s on the Hants Avon in the spring with 11 lines but a 10' with an 8 line line at the moment.

I have a 20' for float fishing but it is an unwieldy beast!
