Chapman D550 ferrule measurements please

Hello,

I was asked to make two ferrule stoppers for Chris Bettis. I have never heard of a Chapman's D550 (3 piece version). Is it a regular 550? If so, could someone please be so kind letting me know the exact measurements (metric please) of the male ferrules? To measure the counter seems to be easier and I will add one or two tenths of a millimeter to achieve a snug fit of the cork.

I know it sounds obvious but would Chris know? Or does he not have the equipment to measure it accurately?

That's the point Paul, He gave me measurements with 10mm and 9mm. But I don't want them to fall out you know? A digit more accuracy would be nice and if you read his post about his health conditions in his post "Help please" you will understand that I don't want to cause him additional work afterwards. I'd like to provide him with fitting stoppers.
I just don't know the difference between Chapman's D550 and a regular 550....

Hi Christopher

The measurements of the male ferrules on my 550 are 12.65mm and 8.45mm.

The ferrules on my 500 measure 11.80 and 8.38.

Neither set are close to what Chris has given you.

I'd ask Chris to double check the larger ferrule

Thank you very much Sean. I asked Chris already as I also thought something maybe wrong with those measures. If I do the cork slightly under 9 and 13 and leave them a bit rough they shall fit. Thanks again.
